How does it work?

The XCellaris Pro uses ultra-fine, titanium needles that are engineered for exact penetration depth, minimising trauma and maximizing efficacy and safety. The needles create controlled micro-injuries in the skin which triggers the body’s natural healing response, stimulating collagen and elastin production. As the skin repairs itself, it becomes smoother, firmer, and more radiant. Over time, this process helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, scars, and uneven texture, revealing a fresher, more youthful complexion.

How is the treatment administered?

Microneedling is performed using a specialized device fitted with fine, sterile needles. Our XCellaris Pro Twist device is a Class II Medical device, meeting the highest standards in manufacturing, materials & product sterility. After thoroughly cleansing the skin the device is gently passed over the treatment area, creating precise microchannels in the skin. The entire procedure typically takes 30–60 minutes, depending on the area treated. Following the treatment, the patient has the choice of either application of a hylauronic acid gel mask, and cryoglobe facial or to have a session under the Dermalux Triwave MD (will increase the speed of results by 200% + added benefits) – if someone wanted to have both of these option the cost is a further £35). To finish, a complimentary medical grade super serum (personalised to your skin or hair goals) is applied. “Would Absolutely Recommend”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I booked the microneedling and tri-wave session, for a facial that is quite invasive, rather than therapeutic, I felt extremely relaxed throughout and actually enjoyed the microneedling feeling. Victoria creates a comfortable atmosphere and keeps you well informed along the way. Would absolutely recommend.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can have this treatment?

Most people- ( all ages, all skin types, all skin colours)

What is the treatment schedule?

Ideally 4-6 treatments are recommended- this would be monthly. After this maintenance treatments could be maximum every 3 months.

Is the treatment painful?

No- we have purchased a state of the art device which 90% of people will not require any anaesthetic or numbing topically before treatment. If you do require this, please arrive early for your appointment and we will be happy to apply numbing cream prior.

How does the treatment work on a cellular level?

Micro-injuries caused by the needles, trigger an inflammatory cascade, which release growth factors including FGF, PDGF, as well as TGF- alpha, and TGF- beta.
These growth factors trigger a cascade that makes cells proliferate and repair any injured tissue
This results in neo-collagenesis ( i.e making more collagen) , and also more elastin being produced.
