What Is Mesotox treatment?

Mesotox is a non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment that combines Botulinum Toxin (commonly known as Botox) with mesotherapy techniques. Instead of being injected deep into the muscles (like traditional anti-wrinkle injections), Mesotox is delivered very superficially into the upper layers of the skin.

This technique softens fine lines, refines pores, and gives the skin a smoother, more airbrushed appearance —without freezing facial movement.

MESOTOX

How does it work?

Mesotox works by delivering a very dilute form of botulinum toxin into the upper layers of the skin rather than the underlying muscles. This shallow placement relaxes the fine muscles that sit just under the skin’s surface and reduces the activity of the oil and sweat glands. As a result, the skin appears smoother, pores look smaller, and fine lines soften — all without affecting full facial expression or creating a “frozen” look. It provides a subtle, refined smoothing and improves overall skin texture and radiance.

MESOTOX

How is the treatment administered?

Mesotox is carried out using a series of very fine micro-injections placed just beneath the surface of the skin. A highly diluted botulinum toxin solution is gently injected across the targeted areas, such as the forehead, cheeks, or around the eyes. The injections are quick and precise, and the treatment usually takes around 10 minutes. Most patients experience minimal discomfort. After treatment, there is little to no downtime, allowing you to return to your day as normal.

Are there any Side effects?

Mesotox is generally well-tolerated, and side effects are usually mild and temporary. Some people may experience slight redness, small bumps at the injection sites, or minor bruising, which typically settle within a few hours to a couple of days. Because the treatment uses a very dilute amount of botulinum toxin and is administered superficially, the risk of causing heaviness or affecting facial expression is low. Your practitioner will assess your skin and adjust the technique to ensure a natural, balanced result.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Mesotox different from regular anti-wrinkle injections?

Traditional anti-wrinkle injections target deeper muscles to reduce movement. Mesotox is placed much more superficially, targeting the skin itself. This results in a more natural, subtle smoothing effect rather than a muscle-relaxing or “frozen” appearance.

What areas can be treated?

Common areas include the forehead, cheeks, nose, jawline, and around the eyes. It can also be used on the neck to refine skin texture and tone.

Is there any downtime?

Downtime is minimal. You may notice slight redness or tiny bumps immediately after treatment — these usually settle within a few hours. Makeup can typically be applied the next day.

Are there any risks or side effects?

Side effects are usually mild and temporary, such as slight redness, swelling, or pinpoint bruising. Because the toxin is very diluted and injected superficially, it is unlikely to cause heaviness or restricted movement.

Who is a good candidate for Mesotox?

Mesotox is suitable for those wanting smoother, more refined skin, especially if they prefer a very natural result. It is particularly beneficial for fine lines, enlarged pores, and oily or textured skin.
